Favourite Wordpress Plugins

Recently, a couple of people have asked me what Wordpress plugins I’m using on this blog, and I realized that everybody else out there has put together a list of their favourite plugins. Why shouldn’t I?
Here’s the list:
- del.icio.us for Wordpress - This plugin allows me to create the list of del.icio.us bookmarks in my sidebar.
- Feedburner Feedsmith - Allows me to let Feedburner handle my RSS feeds.
- Google XML Sitemaps - A nice little SEO plugin to help my Google PageRank.
- Maintenance Mode - With one click I can take this site down, and have Wordpress display a message to visitors explaining why the site isn’t up.
- Spam Karma 2 - Without this comment spam-fighting plugin, I wouldn’t even bother with this blog.
- Statpress - I get lots of great information about visitors to this blog using this plugin. It’s not as detailed as Google Analytics, but it’s a good overview.
- Subscribe to Comments - This plugin allows commenters to receive email when a subsequent comment is left on a post.
- Wordpress Database Backup - A simple way to backup your database.
- WP-Syntax - This plugin makes snippets of source code in a post more readable.
I have a couple more installed, but I haven’t quite decided they’re worth keeping yet. If you have any suggestions for me, leave a comment. I’m always on the lookout for more.

Great list! I’m working on a huge revamp for my blog and am going to incorporate a few of these that I’ve never heard before.
Some of my favorites that I have discovered are:
WP_Cache - I think the name speaks for itself
FlickrRSS - Show your flickr photos on your blog
Gravatar - Show gravatars for comments
WPTouch - Detects is a visitor is on an iPhone or iPod Touch and displays an iPhone themed site for them. Very cool!
And not so much a plugin, but there is a plugin to do it, but I grab a Twitter badge to display on my sidebar.
