Enough is Enough!!

Four major storms in one week. The picture above is the result of two of them. Imagine the work I had to do in the driveway. We’ve had so much snow in the past week, that the banks on the sides of my driveway are over 2 metres high right now, making it almost impossible to clear a path for my car.
After 2 hours of shoveling, I managed to squeeze my car out of the driveway at around 10:30 this morning. I was just dreading the hours of work I’d have waiting for me when I got home, but, to my surprise, the driveway was completely clear of snow.
I guess a neighbour saw my wife working away at some point and decided to be…well, neighbourly. When Erin was inside feeding Calista, this good Samaritan came over with his snow blower and finished off the job (I’d guess about 4 hours’ work with a shovel). Erin didn’t realize what was going on until he’d left.
Needless to say, I’m grateful. Next year, I’m buying my own snow blower!
