It’s been a couple of years since I’ve shot pool. I really enjoyed it, and I used to play quite a bit back in college. Unfortunately, too many were making it hard to find time to play.

Luckily, at work we have a pool table. I’ve been playing a few games each day now for a couple of weeks, and it feels great to be back at it. We even have a pool ladder which I joined last week. It’s a great way to play people you wouldn’t normally play, and it’s a great distraction from work.

This all got me thinking that this is the first time I’ve had a regular 9-5 job, so I could probably join a league. I’ve always wanted to do that. I’ll have to make a couple calls and see when they generally start up.

Anyway, I need to get a little work done before I play some more pool.

This has been around for quite some time now, but I though I’d shrare it anyway because I was noticing at work how dated the default XP theme is. I mean…talk about tired.

Anyway here’s the Energy Blue XP Theme. Just download and install it, then you’ll see it in the themes tab of the display properties.

I remember playing with these as a kid. The best I could ever do was 4 sides, and that took me a long time to do. This guy is incredible. I had to watch it a couple of times because I thought that maybe it was being played in reverse, but at the end of the video the guy drops the cube on the table, so there goes that theory. Take a look…

Well, It’s Thursday night at 8:27, and I open up my laptop, load Gaim, and see that nobody’s online…wtf?? There isn’t even the usual suspects who stay online, but “away” all the time.

Guess I’ll just talk to Frank.
